Joe,
Are you running doorless from NYC or taking them off once you get there. Looks like im about 80% go on the run. If I hit 100% ill prob. head over Fri afternoon and leave a little early Sunday (1pm).

Anyone know if you need to be in a group to hit the comp course or rockpiles near the office. Im thinking if I get there early Fri. I might swing by and play around a little bit

Most likely I am going to take the doors off at the Comfort Inn on Saturday morning.

I am planning on getting there a little early on Fri and leaving a little early on Sun. Hope you get to 100%. It is going to be great weather for wheeling.

Thanks for the heads up. If its not on the trail map, what is it near for a reference point?

Joe and Adam, I'm game for Saturday. Crawl daddy looks like a sweet trail. I haven't seen it yet, but think I know where it is from the descriptions. Let's see where people aren't and go form there. I'll be driving up early Saturday morning (Have to go to the Caps Playoff game friday night!)

And yes, you need two people to do anything at the park.

Thanks. Wasnt sure if the two ride rule applied only to the trails and the playground was ok or if it applied to the whole park.

Hi guys, I have been following this post. I found out yesterday that I can go wheeling on the 25th. (Wife said ok) My only concern is if I will be able to keep up with you. RDY4RKS your Jeep is a Monster. I have done some wheeling but I have never been to R/C. Also to be honest I don’t mind using the skid plates (that’s what they are for) but don’t want to destroy the Jeep trying to keep up. Do you get where I am going with this?

Jim,

You are more than welcome to come along with us. Some of the trails we are going to run may be a bit much for you, but there are bypasses for most of the hard sections. Generally if there are a few people who are doing black trails and some that are not, we split and meet at the end of the section. Most trails out there crisscross or run parallel to each other. Makes it easy to keep everyone having a good time and not breaking stuff. Honestly, no one wants have to do trail repair so we try not to destroy each others jeeps out on there. Finally, you will be very surprised at what you can take on with what you have. The JK is amazingly capable out of the box, with the lift you have you will be fine for most of what we run.
