Tell me about it man...sucks that there are hardly any good places in SE VA...now they take that away from us. We're just peasants on the manor man, no more freedom to explore the great outdoors without express government permission to ride on "THEIR" land. What a joke.

For real, its absolutely ridiculous... we can only hope that 4x4ers decide to boycott and they end up losing money... There is nowhere to offroad (legally) around here as it is, and they take this away...terrible

Eh, it's a different management for each area. And the north beaches are technically a road, since while most people would say 12 just ends at the beach, it really goes up the beach to the VA border. I do expect this will lead to even more crowding up there though.

A guy I work with helps put together a big car and bike show and wants me to get a group of jeeps together. He said the entry fee for the show might be like $25 or so. Let me know if your interested.

Welcome to VA or welcome back. Are you in the Corps or just moved this way? I know of a couple of spots around here where me and some buddys get the jeeps a little dirty. A combination of trails and mud, it will give you a chance to try out those 35s, good looking jeep by the way. Mine will be in the shop on the 22nd for some repairs, but if my friends not TDY we can head out some time, the trails are only a few minutes south of here. Send me a PM and let me know if you want to check them out.
