Like the other guy said it is probably best to take your buddies with you and spot each other. No blood no foul

Hey guys im new to the forum. All the info on here has helped me alot with some decisions on mods. However i still cant decide what lift to go with, ill be running 33's on stock 18's. Im thinking between 2.5 and 3.5, i dont want it to look to goofy. Any suggestions ? Thank you in advance

I say 2.5 for 33's and 3.5 for 35's. I started with 33's and 2.5, but quickly moved to 35's on 2.5. They fit with slight rubbing at a full stuff and turn. If I started over, I'd go 3.5 - 4 with 35's.

33's with a 2 - 2.5" lift will look fine. Depending on the type of wheeling you plan on doing, a 2.5" BB will work just fine. My personal preference would be the TF 2.5" BB... Unles you get a true 35" tire, I think a 3.5-4" lift is a bit much and is better suited for 37" tires IMO... In the end, it honestly comes down to personal preference...

So if you're going to wheel your Jeep, if you haven't already, I'd really recommend wheeling it stock as much as you can. It may change/re-prioritize some of your decisions.

Thanks guys. My worry was if i went to 35's my gas mileage greatly decrease and the wear and tear would obviously increase. My daily work drive is 70 miles, even though i only do it 14 times a month it still worried me. On a side note do you guys ever meet up or help each other out with little project's ?

I'm on 35's with 2.5" lift and get 16.2 mpg with the Hypertech programmer. I drive 50 miles a day 5 days a week.
