So, please help this dope understand how to enter in Geo coordiantes. Using the MYGIG, I put in the above coordinates but the only way I could make it work was to put in 26 instead of 25.93 in the above. Same for the other numbers with decimal points. Is that correct?

This is only a guess, but it seems that the Mygig is pretty damn good but I doubt it would be set to be accurate within a single degree. so it would most likely mean that 25.93 rounds up to 26...

that being said I know alot of aftermarket ones that wont break down lats and long's to a decimal... there are also a lot that do, but they are more expensive obviously.

I may be wrong, its just speculation due to experiance with other gps systems.

but thats my take on it...

if this is misinfo then you can all throw sand at me the first time we make a team beach trip... hahahah

I'd like to get there today as well. I have a 7pm meeting in Dix Hills, so maybe I'll go before. I was thinking I'd go afterwards, but this weather sux. I'd like a beach run with my brand new beach permit! I better change my clothes!!!
