Democrat Point

Take robert moses south, to the Robert moses pencil.
At the pencil make a RIGHT, and follow that to the end.
At the end of the road there are barriers which warn normal vehicles to turn around. But the Permit allows you to go in between the barriers and onto the 4x4 access area.

Democrat point has its own air if you need to air back up. but you need to bring your own air tube/chuck

-The red dot indicates the entrance.
-The blue lines indicate the areas you are allowed to drive

Awesome maps man! Good work. Although youre forgetting the little part at Democrat Point that goes north right in the center of the area. Leads to some really cool rocks and a nice quiet (usualy) little dead end.

Sure I'll have to do that. Maybe Friday night we can go check out Democrat. I'm always down for a beach run.

Oh, this is VERY helpful! Thanks for taking the time to do this. i'm going to go plug those coordiates into my NAV unit.

I'd like to join you all this friday night. I have a parents meeting at 7pm in Dix Hills. No idea how long it'll go. What time do you guys head out there from Bellmore? Will you go in the rain?

Going in the rain actually is pretty fun. Especially if there is lightning. great to watch.

I can't wait till my tires get here. My stock X tires suck in the sand if I dont air down, and usually I'm too lazy to.
