Starting on the left (west) the first beach is
Gilgo-just a strip of beach good for fishing
the middle beach is Sore Thumb
this beach has a long strip of beach and some little rocks, cliffs and little "trails" this is the best beach imo
The one furthest to the right (east) is Democrat point - this beach is good for people that need to air down and don't have their own air to air back up. at the exit there are 3-4 spots or air up but you NEED YOUR OWN AIR CHUCK. This spot is usually full of hardcore fishermen that even have campers and stay overnight!

THE SORE THUMB ENTRANCE IS LOCATED AT
N 40 38"25.93"
W 73 19'10.70"
-ocean parkway almost to the end but before captree. This is the spot where i go most of the time.
-The red dot indicates the entrance
-The blue lines indicate areas you are allowed to drive

Gilgo is connected to Sore thumb, but they are separated by a private beach which you are NOT allowed to drive on.
To get to gilgo...
Heading EAST on Ocean Parkway it is 5 mins after Tobay beach. Gilgo is on the right BEFORE sore thumb. - gilgo is ok but it gets old becuase its just the one strip of beach and then thats it, its a good spot to fish.
