I really want to, but i'm not sure if I will. It costs around 2-3 thousand bucks to have it shipped, takes a month minimum, and i would have to get the Jeep to California first. May sell it and try to find a used JK or maybe a TJ.

The NYS beach permits aka 4x4 beach access fishing permits, are still available until april 30th. i would encourage everyone to get one its definately worth it

Thanks for the reminder! I think I'll get one this year. I've only gotten the Suffolk county one before to go to Smith's Point.

Can someone post a list of cool beaches, locations, and hours we're allowed on them? And we need to carry fishing gear, right?

off the top of my head democrat point, sore thumb and gilgo. I like sore thumb the best has a nice strip of beach and some cool rocks/cliffs.

The gear you need is a fishing pole, bucket, jack, shovel, tackle box, tow strap, I think thats it ill check the back of the permit when i get a chance

Its the Mopar one thats made for the JK. Quadratec part #92034.200

It's new, never used in box with instruction. They are selling it for $209.99

Hows $50 bucks and free delivery sound??
