Xenon.. it'a a wrap
Check that mod off my list...
Finished the Xenon install by replacing the side marker light they supply with a 1.25" six LED marker.. The lights Xenon uses are mounted at the edge of the fender and wiring isn't really secure, so it's easy to snag it with a tire and pull the light off the fender. I put reflectors in where the lights are supposed to go and the LED marker/turn signal under the fender.
Works perfect...
Only negative I've found with the Xenon fenders is that the RR locking hood latches I have don't really work well.. they hit the top of the fender. I've ordered the parts to do the Drake-style latches.
Also bought the parts (not a long parts list) to do a DIY sunshade. My wife is pretty fair skinned and doesn't like the sun for extended periods... Boy, I am going to miss her when summer comes. ;-)
Finally got a chance to wash the rig yesterday. Looks like the winter salt took a bite out of the clear coat on my wheels. I have been pondering going all black anyway, so... maybe that project needs to be put on the schedule..
