WELCOME! Did u buy from huntington Jeep? Dan? I got mine in Nov from them.
Sigb up for a JeepJamboreeUSA.com or two. they're pricey but worth it. the Killington & catskills events are the best IMO.
also, check out the local club that posts here. since Paragon closed down, Rousch Creek is the closest Park to go to. I also wheel in the Florida, MA area. public trails are free and camping & hotels are cheap. I'm planning a trip there july 11 weekend cause I have a conflict for the VT Jamboree.
Beach Permits: there are a few options and they get confusing. State, County, fishing or not. etc.

Just wanted to drop a whats up to my fellow islanders...
I am from Huntington
I will be picking up my 2009 Black Rubicon Unlimited today
needless to say I am stoked...
I Need to get some off road permits and I dont know where or how to start getting that in motion...
I would like beach permits for RM and Montauk and stuff...
Can anyone help me out getting started with that ??
Also once I get her I am down to take her on any trips at all hahaha

She is still nameless but I am sure this weekend she will have one....
I am taking her up to hunter Mt this weekend I think... should be able to get some 4x4 action shots hahahaha
Now I just need help getting set up with some beach passes for the summmmerrrr
I am like a child today I keep going outside to look at her at work hahaha and took lunch early just to drive her hahaha

yea It was already on the lot waiting for me... I was the first one to test drive her (she had 2 miles on it when I go in) and the day I drove off (last night) was 24 miles on it... its quite alright because I test drove her twice hahaha so I've been the one who put all the miles on her hahahaha
I drove to work today and while I will say it was slow and steady feeling (I just got rid of the benz that got me WAYYY to many speeding tickets hahahah)
I couldnt not wipe the shit eating grin off my face to save the world hahaha
My buddy at work has a pickup with a slight lift and wheels on it and he was parked next to the embankment so while I was at lunch I pulled right up next to him... then crawled up the top of the embankment and parked it so my wheels are even with his windshield
hahaha I am itching to take the tops off hahaha I cannot wait till the sun starts poking out
oh and billy said whats up man.. hahah I told him you said whats up and had the orange rubi and he was like hell yea I know him hahahaha
