I had a set of custom built HRE's. Custom offsets on three piece wheels. I want to vomit at what I paid for them compared to what it costs to mod the JK. I could do a full long arm kit, wheels and tires for what four HRE's cost me..

Glad those days are gone.

I loved the wheels.. but made the made a mistake when I had them refinished.. I had the centers (five spoke) PC'd clear which was fine, but I left the lips unfinished. I quickly became a slave to polishing them and Can honestly say I used every metal polish known to man. They looked great but man, what a PITA.

Yes, I am on the south shore too... I'm in Massapequa all the time, either passing through or visiting family and friends.. Would love to meet up. There are tons of JK's around here, but being so close to Security Dodge, most of what I see are Soccer Moms.. and oddly, nobody waves.
