FYI....
Stopped at Babylon Town Hall this morning. The Beach Buggy passes which get you 4x4 access to overlook and Cedar Beach and are supposed to go on sale two weeks ago are delayed because of problems with beach entrance on the State land... Guessing that is the east Gilgo entrance.. No idea when it will be available

Hmmmm so looks like someone at my job got a new jeep and I'm wondering if it's anyone here. Detonator yellow jku looks lifed with 35s, hard top with roof rack, aftermarket wheels. Just sitting here at gateway plaza in patchogue looking at it the past couple days

I got the feeling Mod Day died...
I'll be home that day either way. Planning to work on my OBA & Aux lights. Maybe replace my side rails. I already have the Smittybilts off and ready for paint, then off to the For Sale Forum..

S&L Powder coating is in North Amityville.. off of Edison Ave. Haven't used them in years but when they did my custom three-piece wheels they did an amazing job.
The other place is Rainbow Powder Coating.. Deer Park. I think it's Industrial Ct. Never used them but made note of where they were last time I passed.
When S&L did my wheels they were $200 per wheel, but that involved taking the three pieces apart, stripping, powder coating the centers and polishing the lips.. so not a good comparison if you're doing a single coat on a set of wheels.
That said, I strongly recommend paint instead of powder coat. Paint is cheaper and if you tag it, it's far easier to repair a damaged spot. PC isn't nearly as easy. You'd have to strip the wheel and then PC it a second time and hope the color matched. Just my humble $0.02...
