Thanks - glad to finally have a Wrangler, puts a smile on my face everytime I get in. Need tires/rims , anyone selling their old rubi's, Evan has some sahara's on CL would they fit the sport? I think there 18's not sure I would want to go that big rim wise.

If we need tools for Mod Day let me know... Got lots! Spring compressors, electrical stuff, and such.

Anyone have thoughts on a location?

Not planning any crazy mods?
:rotfl mao2:

You said.. you're not planning any big mods?

Oh my...famous last words!! Get your credit card warmed up 'cause it's a slipper slope and once you get going it's impossible to stop!!

I am addicted. There. I said it. Yes, I have an addiction. JPAS. Jeep Part Acquisition Syndrome..

Sahara's will fit on your Sport but yes, they are 18's. Might be the look you want but when it is time to replace the rubber it will cost more than five new wheels and tires in 15"

You already have a nice set of wheels.. Spray them black. Get some spacers. Throw a set of 33's on them and call it a day. Sell your tires for a couple hundred o help finance the new rubber. Look here....

I should listen to my own advise. I have a set of stockers with like 200 miles on them stacked on the side of my shed..

I'd be careful 4 wheeling over at Hot Water St. I use to ride my dirt bike there with a group of four. We stop after the State boy got to know us by name and impounded one of the bikes. That was over 5 yr ago tho.

If you are down for mod and I don't have you on the list make sure you speak up I am not sure who said they were down in the past but we are missing a few people it looks like...

Also I am getting the vibe that 4/7 is the best date so far... but we still need a place to get things done...

I am trying to see if I can use my brothers house... but the drive way is gravel ... hahaha kinda think that would SUCK for everyone...

MikekiM -

Thanks for the sound advice, I think I will stick with the stock steelies and get some new rubber on them soon. Yep, I am all to familiar with the JPAS and it is a slippery slope once you get going.
