Thanks for the info guys. I know all these places are illegal, and I know the restrictions for the beach. I just want to explore a little. No heavy duty stuff. What about out of state. Like jersey?

And for the kind Audi owner, do you miss the Audi? I'm not sure if the fun of owning a JK will make up for the lack of luxuries the Audi gave me.

That's some solid juice for a S4....

What kinda S4 was it? 4A, 8D, or 8E/8H ?? wasnt a 8k was it?
Those figures were at the wheels.

2001, M-box B5 twin turbo.

The list of mods was too long to list all but the short story was...full RS4 motor with K04's. Custom tuned by EPL in CT by Tony Chick who was the first guy to crack the vW software code and tune it. Bosch fuel pump, bigger injectors, X1 CAI, RS4 clutch and PP. Straight through stainless exhaust from Kooks Custom Headers on LI. STaSIS Tracksport suspension with 600/700 springs and matched Intrax bars. Stoptech brakes up front and I did an S8 rear brake conversion.. Slotted two piece rotors front and back. 18x8.5 I-forged three piece wheels with Toyo's. Those wheels alone were almost a grande per wheel. . RS4 alcantara interior, custom LED boost gauge integrated into the tach and a custom Valentine One radar detector scattered around the interior (both were kits I was selling and installing for a while).

So many on other add ons and mods.

If you're into it, I'll post up some pics and the Dyno plot. I had it close to ten years and it was near perfect when I sold it. It became a driveway queen once I got the JK and to be frank, the LI roads weren't long enough.. Other than Ocean Pky there really wasn't anywhere near here to open it up. Sold to a guy down around Philly...

You'll need a beach permit to get out on the sand near RM. Need to get it early in the year though as after March they are unavailable for the season.
funny, the b5 s4 is what got me into cars in the first place. my friend had a stg3 nogaro wagon. i had a 337 gti prior to my jk. i honestly love the jk so much more

Try a jeep jamboree, great experience, especially for beginners - but there are more vets than beginners. Sign up EARLY, cause all the trips in the NE sell out within 2-3 weeks of being released in december 1st.

Others will say they are too expensive, but I say don't knock it till you try it!

Anybody out here interested in swapping tires? I have hankook dynapro's a/t 315/70/17 with about 4000k miles on them.
I'm looking for a more aggressive tire. Shoot me a pm if interested and what you got... I'm out in Suffolk.

Yours look pretty aggressive as they are.. Are you staying on the same wheels?

Did you install your flat flares yet? Post some pics..

BTW.. Paid a visit to Sammy.. He's going to relieve me of some of my money this week. Mango will be there getting some "stuff" done.

Default I'm about to give up on LI Jeepers.....

I have waved to EVERY SINGLE jeep I've passed for two months solid. Didn't miss a single one.. Modded or not. New or old. JK or otherwise. Queens, Nassau and out as far as Montauk...

I got three friggin' waves in return. Three! I average three or four out-going waves a day and I get three waves over sixty plus days.. that's pathetic.

Even a few of you sporting JK stickers failed with a return wave. WTF?

Maybe it's because I have the stock pizza cutters on.. Or there are too many mall-crawlers in JK's these days and they don't get it. Who knows.

I get lifted and 33's on BR 909s this week so let's see if the boost increases the number of return waves...
