You will need a fishing permit, plus poles and tackle. A buddy of mine was ticketed for not actually fishing. He had the gear, just didn't feel like fishing after he got on the beach.

When? as in what time of day and what day of the week? Cause when I was there almost everyone had poles in the sand but none in the water.

I guess it was in early June. He didn't have a pole stuck in the sand, they were still on the roof rack of his Cherokee. He was there a couple of hours before he drew attention.

I'll see him Monday and I'll get the specifics.

i go on the beach all the time. 2x that ive gone on, my jeeps OIL TEMP warning light has gone on. 1st time i didnt air down in loose sand (i have 32" BFG KMs) but second time i was aired down to about 20. it happens in 4high in loose sand with my RPMs at about 2grand....... Im pretty sure the light is my tranny fluid temp light, and not my engine oil temp light due to the fact that im automatic. my engine temp gauge reads totally normal. is that normal? i never knew of anyone who owned a 4x4 vehicle or JK for that matter and had this issue!!!!! is there a tranny oil i could buy that might b better for hotter temps? i really dont feel like putting in a tranny cooler. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I did the tranny cooler, and it was worth it. Just got the recall from Jeep in the mail about the tranny, glad the cooler solves that problem.

I forgot what brand it was, the recall is just going to add a sensor the 2007 and 2008 lack. It just tells you your tranny fluid is real hot and need to let it cool off.
