Adam, we can meet you at exit 49 Pinelawn Rd. there's a park and ride parking lot off the service road, but I'd still want to go over the Verrazanos to get there. I'm not doing the city trek during the holidays. So LIE to 135 to SS. Be at the lot at 5AM? Cool with you?
My only concern is that right now the LIE is under construction from 50-49 M-F from 9pm to 5am. I've been out at that time many times lately and the service road moves along fine. I'll look at the signs tomorrow to check for sure that it's over at 5am, even on saturday morning.
I agree of course, Staten Island. LIE to Cross Island to The Belt (it's shorter than taking 135).

do we know if theres an snow up there anymore?? wonder what the weather will b like for us that day! i feel like everytime i see pics from rausch its always cloudy and drizzling!! haha
