one more thing i was wondering if anybody could help me with is a rust issue im having with my smittybily rock rails. where the corners meet, rust has started b/c there is a hole in the tubing there and water can get in the inside. that rust water then drips all down the sides and stuff making it look pretty crappy. is spray foam the best way to go??
The spot where the weld hole is
a spot where the rust water has dripped down

Hey matt,
Where did you get that switch?
I think it would be cool to run 4 or 5 of them up the pillar to control my compressor, interior accent lights, and soon the come lockers.

So no go for Friday, no problemo.
TF SS works great if anyone is looking to upgrade. Need to check my toe since I think the tierod is bent, but so far so good, no steering shimmy/DW.

Looks like there is only 1 or 2 who want to go...so I don't know?? Up to you guys...
Matt, there is an actual hole on the rail? If you want, I'll spot weld it, then you can primer and paint the area.
cooz, I think Bestop is the only company who makes the soft doors for the JK. I'm going this route as well very soon. They do work with the factory soft top.

cooz bestop is the way to go with the soft doors. They redid their door latches so they are not as bad as they used to be. It takes lots of tweaking to get the doors to fit perfectly, but I dont think there are other brands out there with a full soft door

i picked mine up at the Truck Shop in West Sayville for like $10 and had him splice the wires to the new switch from the old one infront of me within 15 min. (that kinda thing i would sum how end up butchering). all in all only 23 bucks. i no radio shack has like a million switches including the fighter pilot switch like i got and so does your local advanced auto.
