Robert Moses beach. You need to get your passpretty early (April). not sue if they are still available.
There also seems to be some places in Suffolk County. Any help?

hi, from Long island.. this is my first post on this forum, and i have been taking my new JK to the sore thumb(gilgo beach) and to democrats point. i paid 50 bucks for the permit and i have been having a ball out on the dunes, fishing, BBQin and just plain chillin on the beach. there arent too many places to take your jeep offroad on long island but i have found some pretty good urban spots on the nassau/suffolk border. the permits were available at the park office by robert moses.. first right after the needle, theres no more available now but i think they make them available again later in the season. I Herculined my black JK and im never putting the doors back on again. keep an eye out for me.

I have the pass but haven't made it out to the beach yet. Have you been airing down your tires? If so, where have you been filling them up?
