I was under my jeep today and i noticed the silver hose clamp that holds down the boot of the front drive shaft, slid all the way down to the end of the drive shaft.
The boot is not ripped, but the front end of it looked wet but wasnt leaking.
I was able to get the clamp back on to where its supposed to be, i guess it hit the tranny skid last time wheeling and it popped loose and i never even noticed until now.
Anyone know if that boot is eventually gonna start leaking?
Its too dark to take a pic but ill put one up in the morning.

It may have hit the tranny (do you have an auto?). I've read about people using zip ties so they break away if they hit the tranny instead of ripping the boot.

I'm ready for another trip to Rausch, Unfortunately I can't go for a little while. I am busy the next 3 weekends. After that I'm ready, and hopefully my wheels get here so I can get some rubber and put them on for the trip.
