I actually think the JKU is a good alternative to the usual Soccer mom mobiles. very roomy cargo. very cheap compared to the SUVs out there. 4x4 is a plus (but no Full time option is bad for the uninformed). plus: IT'S A CONVERTIBLE! can't get that in an Explorer or MDX!

I agree with dimitri. I absolutely hate the look of stock 4drs. They need at least 35s (should come stock ) and around here you don't see unless I run into one of you guys lol. I hate that wranglers have become "soccer mom" jeeps, before you know it the windshields won't fold down, doors will be permanently attatched, hard tops for everyone....I'm a Jeep purist

Drew, those hids look great btw. Did you do them yourself? How involved was the install?? I've been thinking about doing it because I hate the stock headlights.

I never installed HID's, but I did install my PIA Fog lights, was pretty simple, I mounted it on to the bumper guard, wired it right into the fuse panel, weatherproofed the wiring by wrapping it in two layers of electrical tape, I check it to make sure its holding, been holding for two years now.

it was so easy, i used the quick splice clips and hook it in to the factory headlight and fogs system and run one power wire to the drive side from the pass side, i think it the white one with the red stripe and then the black as the ground. it was pretty easy
vvme.com it was 68.99 for the heads and i got the single bead for the fogs which was 51.99
