I gotta go to S. Jersey tomorrow afternoon. I'm hoping the blizzard conditions (ie, white out) are over but the people are still afraid to drive so I can get there without traffic! And maybe pull a stuck car or two out and make a few bucks along the way LOL

Scratch that, finally went under the JK and found the speed sensor wire loom had a nice gouge and kink on it. Pulled the wires from the loom, low and behold, a cut wire. Guess it flexed enough to sandwich the wire under the bumpstop and pad. Put a wire in between, lights all went off. Took it for a spin in the snow, TPS came on when I got on the throttle, ABS worked, etc.

If you have this code come up (U1418), check your wiring and connections before purchasing anything. Thank goodness I didn't put the order in.

Glad to hear you got that fixed.

At merrick jeep they moved all the cars back to prepare for the snow. But they left 2 JKs in the front and backed them into each other so that the spare tires are almost touching. And on the windows they wrote : Wish you had a Jeep? Thought that was pretty funny.

Awesome! Good to know some Jeep dealers like the fact they have Wranglers. Some don't know, at all.
