I will go where ever I feel comfortable. If that means a bypass or two so be it. Rather the verbal abuse than the Bill. It really depends if I'm able to get my rock rails mounted.

Was anybody interested in the Misch Arm Rest?

You won't get verbal abuse. Better safe than sorry.

But, if you have time, won't mind coming out by you to mount the rails, even if you haven't welded the bottom tabs.

I just got home and I'm going to do a test fit to see what size hardware I need. Do you think it would be alright to run them the way they are without the additional support?

They'll definitely be fine. Did he include the hardware? There's some strip nuts that come with the rails. They are strips of metal welded to the nut so you can snake it through the frame to the opening, and start the bolt.

On some holes, 1/2" grade-8 and grade-8 ONLY, bolts/washers/nuts. On a couple of the smaller holes, I believe 3/8", but, drill the holes a tad bigger to accept 1/2".

It can go both ways. They can protect your body if you do decend on a rock, but then they'll crack and break to pieces. Your call.

If you trust our spotting, take them off. If not, leave them on. IMO, seen quite a few break to pieces, but with shitty spotting.

yea I just got back inside. First I thought the rails would line up with existing holes. Since I will have to drill the frame, I will wait for daylight or a garage. Its just not going to work out in the driveway tonight. Did any paperwork come with the rails that indicated exact sizes on these grade 8 bolts? Where can I even buy grade 8 locally? If you had a garage Dimitri, I'd come to you.

Otherwise here is the list of things I wanted to get done before Friday.
-Install mopar rubber liner (hide cb coax)
-Tune CB
-Wire My winch (what size inline fuse does everyone recommend?)
-Install Rock sliders

I installed mine in the driveway, alone. The paperwork, don't know where it is. But you can use standard 1/2"-13 grade-8s available at Home Depot and Lowes. They bolt up to existing holes. You can mount the rails, THEN use the holes on the plates as guides to drill the frame

I didn't install an inline fuse for the winch, I don't think ANYONE does. Not needed.
