So i did something stupid yesterday, instead of using the money to put towards 35s that i have been wanting, dumbass me went out and bought a 600 fishing reel. is that stupid or want? please write want you think lol

Hey, to each his own. You saw how I fish - basically just bait the hook for my kids and keep them from being taken out to sea! (thanks again for that, BTW)

My vote is return it...
its a fishing rod... Its not going to make you a better fisherman really... sure great gear lets you do great things but if you had good gear then you can still do great things....
I have seen a little kid hook a doormat of a flounder/fluke thing I mean bigger then him on a fisher price snoopy rod hahahaha
Some stuff is really that much better and that much more expensive...
I just dont think a fishing rod can be really that much better then they are at a decent price...
I guess what I mean is, in my head the materials/equipment/time and craftsmenship form a 200$ rod to a 600$ rod are not anywhere near as great to compose of the price change....
Though apply that to tires and I say yea there are differences that might make it worth it to spend the extra 200% increase in price...
Not sure if that makes sense to you but its just what i think...
There is a LOT of stuff I would do with 600$ though... non of it involves fishing... maybe I am bias...
