we've discussed air psi for beach here before. BBrish likes to run without airing down and has had much success. You WILL see/feel a difference when airing down. The question is: is it enough to make airing up worth it. If they didn't have air at the beach and I had to fill up w/a small compressor, I wouldn't air down every time. But I noticed a HUGE diffference at 18psi over stock 39psi in my Rubicon tires.

Also, I figure 10 minutes of total effort is better than getting stuck. If just for the embarrassment factor alone!

I'm part of LIOR and EC4WDA. I was not at Trailfest this year, but I was at MaBell a little while back (part of Trailfest). Did you see a JK with the LIOR sticker? There are about 4 JKs in the club, but not wheeled a lot, except me. But, since we're 60+ strong, I know you had to see a few LIOR rigs at Trailfest. I think about 6-8 showed for it.

The Jeep was working a lot harder with 30psi today compared to 18psi the other day.
Still lots of fun and the best way to experience the beach.

I agree on the embarrassment factor
