can your better off going through craigs list , or buying locally , it doesnt look like he is giving you the frame and hardware , i bought mine , on craigslist for $500 and it was only a few weeks old , not a scratch, just watch it regularly , im sure you could get one once the cooler weather comes in , fall will be here before you know it , good luck

This might be what he installed...
12v power adapter... Quadratec sells it..
Funny thing, I didn't know we would have issues with tapping off 12v power and I needed to install my Magellan which is permanently mounted on a Daystar upper dash panel.. The GPS has a male 12v cig lighter adapter for power, as one would expect, so I just added a female cig lighter adapter off the switched accessory power outlet and tucked it all behind the center dash fascia.
Works like a charm...

yes that is the part i used and i have done what you said to permanently hook in my satellite radio in my previous car. But if you put a lot of aftermarket accessories in your jk it will become a mess of wires therefore this is a very clean solution to wire in my cb, clinometer, and what else i will need in the future.

Ok...so...yeah...IT WAS U...I was kinda in a rush...was gonna stop and say hi on the side of u...but forgot if ur jeep was white or silver...LOL...I was gonna feel stupid...but now that I'm thinking about it...ur the only one with some big ass tired and a snorkel on ur jeep around here...lol...REALLY NICE...super intimidating...both u and the jeep...lol...JK...
