it was a lot... heh

I really was about 1/2 to 1/3 of an inch away from tire though... now I am about 3 inches away... (the cut was a little less then 3 full)

I cannot wait to flex out again and see if she hits anything though

Joey,
Did you get the front e-disco skid from Skid Row also? Yuk!!! Return it and get the Rugged Ridge one. It's VERY sturdy and cheaper I believe. I've tested mine personally - have the scars to prove it!

wow I couldnt even do 3 inches on mine.. I cut off 1" and it made the rail about the same length as the "enhanced" rail..

I wanna see pics. where did you find an extra 3" of metal on the body?

The rubi rail was cut 3 inches...

The body was cut too... a good angle cut and it was even with the new rail on a / sorta angle... I will have photos later today when I get out of work...

3'' was alot on the rubi rail but to be honest I think it looks perfect...
and paint wise I am going to hit the pinch welds one more time (just because I am a worry wort)

I've never cut a set of rails before nor have I read any posts on doing it but when joe and I looked at it, the 3" just made sense. Trust me, when you look at the pics you will see what I mean. It looked real good last night when we were finished (Night time=dark time) Hope it looks as good in the light.
