Well it took 6 gallons to fully flush the water from the trans. Got it filled and I drove 20 miles. It looks very clean still so I'm gonna say it's as good as it's gonna get.

Now, I need a front driveshaft. Apparently 2.5" lift is too much for the shaft.

Let the research begin

Thanks for all the help yesterday. And thanks for the advice on the shaft.

Looking forward to wheeling with you again (with EXTRA extended breathers)

thought Id share.. I just checked out the boot a little bit better on the driveshaft.. it looks like the boot ripped from the driveshaft stretching at full droop, not from rubbing the skid (the tear isnt above the skid, its actually behind it. Anyways.. I spent a few minutes looking at how the boot attaches to the shaft, and the way the shaft is not smooth, I dont see how the boot stops water from getting inside it. maybe it slows and blocks a lot of water/debris from entering, but there is no way it stops it.

part of the boot where it tore I noticed has been rubbing the transmission so I cut it back. Im gonna keep an eye on it, but from what I saw it doesnt seem like too much of a big deal. there is another boot on the shaft where the joint is, and that one is still in tact. (thats the boot that will sling grease all over the place if torn)

Anyways, Im pretty set on getting a tom woods 1310 shaft in the near future.. Actually Im thinking I should order it tomorrow so I have it for my maybe Rausch trip in 2 weeks.

Anyways, Im venting on here because my girlfriend doesnt give a shit.
Have a good one all
