I have full soft doors too which I would've had to take on/off as neccessary. BUT, they are in my shipment of my stuff over to WA State. Right now I'm in temporary lodging in CT. Because of this, I took the soft doors and shipped them with all my stuff. I have hard doors and hard top on...
So at best I'll be running with the T-tops off, but I'll be throwing them back on before crashing through any deep water if I go into it. But hey, at least the JK allows this, my older Jeeps it wouldn't even have THAT as an option.
(The first two pics in my signature show the soft doors in 1/2 door configuration, saw someone wanted pics of the soft doors)
