It's about time. I thought a hunter may have gotten you. (you have seen Deliverance right?) We were about to send the search party.

I need to pay more attention, I just noticed this post last night.
Next time you plan on making a trip to Hawkins Hollow, or anywhere else around that area, count me in. We used to camp there about every other weekend. I always thought the water company owned that property, at least from the main entrance down to the swimming hole/crossing.
Just to make sure we are talking about the same place, Hawkins Hollow, Indian creek or blue hole is all the same place ... right? sound familiar to anybody? I haven't been there in over 10 years and my memory is a little foggy.
Ever been to or hear of Creek Falls? It's been along time since I've been there too, I cann't even remember how to get there. That place might be shut down too, alot of stolen cars ended up back there burnt to a crisp.

March 3rd is my next planned trip there. Sadly its the earliest weekend i have free between now and then.

But yes, Hawkins Hollow is also Indian Creek/Blue Hole/etc. Casparis itself is the area west of Hawkins Hollow but they are connected. Sadly Hawkins Hollow is no longer accessable from the main road like it used to be, you have to use the back door now which involved a number of switch backs and such.

I've heard of Creek Falls but haven't been there. I know about the over look near the mines which has about two dozen stolen and/or burnt cars at the bottom of a 60-70 foot clif....

March sounds good to me, I just have to remember to keep checkin in.
I'll have to pick up my old wheelin' buddy and take a ride out to Creek Falls to see if anything changed, closed, blocked. All I remember is it was on the right before you crossed a bridge, I'm sure my buddy knows how to get there.

EDIT : Just got off the phone with my buddy, Creek Falls is no more ... "Private Drive" cann't get in. He said there was an "easy/light trail" in Smithton PA, Rt. 70, We'll go check that out see what it's like.
