Question Build day/weekend in preparation of the RC meet - JK Fest

So I was thinking ...in preparing for the RC meet in October what about a build day/weekend for us East Coasters. Install that new lift, get the armor on underneath, etc etc...

Get together, work on Jeeps, have some beers and some food. Get the gear on to test it out at Rausch Creek.

I'd offer up my driveway but it's stone and an PITA to work in (I manage) but maybe we can rent a shop somewhere or all pile in some other poor souls driveway?

I realize the logistics of getting a majority of the east coast in one spot is gonna be tough but I just thought I'd throw it out there.

I'd be interested if it was not to far a drive.

Yea I know what you mean. It's gonna be far for some folks so I don't think it'll work out.

If I end up going, I really need to hard-wire my CB power cables. I've been using a cigarette lighter adapter that tends to lose it's connection on every 3rd bump.

I also have a box in my garage with rubicon rock rails that I should swap out with my sahara steps.

Simple things I can do myself.

How can this be possible? Every time I think I am done, something new comes out. I didn't think jeeps were ever finished.

So I was just pricing out some budget friendly lifts. I'm leaning towards skyjacker. If I do this, I'll definitely need some help.
