Now, I of course am not trying to talk anyone out of blowing money on their jeep....
... but to my knowledge they are recoomended, but not required. The groups are no less than two, but with 40+ registered, the groups should be large enough it isnt an issue.

Dick's sporting goods carries the Midland micro's. I bought one and it works great. I also got the CoolTech ultramount w/firestick.

Ive been there a few times without one, but I always felt out of the loop. That's why I finally got one. The wife isnt very happy though..... she asked if it comes with a trucker hat...
