IS it worht the Price to fix it?
Hey there,
I just bought a 2002 Jeep TJ with 231,000 for $4800. I brought it to my mechanic, who I do trust by the way and he has advised me it needs $4100 in work plus HST to safety. The work includes: Front rotors and pads, Power Steering box, 6 u joints, bushings, bearings, sway bar, and a new rear differential along with a few bulbs etc.
Im wondering if you thing its worth it for the year and mileage

I would take a good look at the heads as well. Common thing for cracks to develop around the 200,000 mile mark. I would fix it myself as the parts listed are pretty easy diy stuff.I don't see $1000 in parts.
