Good grief no. But I did see a Jeeper attack an ATV trail patrol guy with a lug wrench. Crazy times up a Wier.

Not good

Many ATV owners are accusing the Jeepers to dammage the trails.

Welcome to Ottawa! I work from our Kanata office two or three times a month so do the odd trail with the EOTB folks. They run some real nice trails. And Chertsey is not too far for you if you want something more challenging.

Carp is a real nice stock run - I think EOTB are running a night run there in the next couple of weeks. I'm sure Rod will chip in with the date or check out their website. Might see you there!

Yep, they repaired the bridge and they put some large rocks to stop water crossings (clearly they don't understand how our minds work!)

The newest change is when entering the trail at Lucerne and going up the stairs. You used to exit the trail by using an ATV trail to get on to the road jack rabbit. However the ATV folks have removed all rocks from the trail and it's more like a unpaved highway. Given they spent muchos $ doing this they are taking down license plate numbers of any vehicles caught on the ATV trail and passing them on to the police. Hence the altercation with another group of Jeepers just ahead of us. At the moment you have to turn around and exit back at Lucerne, which makes it a long day. ORA was up there on Saturday and one group was scouting an alternative exit. I'll keep you posted!

Hey Brian,

Just send a note to Evan on the EOTB.ca site and he will put you on the announcement list...You just missed the season opener at the Gorge Sunday...

I didn't know you moved...?

Yep in and out only and the outlook is still closed. I think they cleared the trail too so no real challenge.

Probably see you at the Carp night run if you're going.
