Ok I am currently looking at this trip
648km from my house that is a tank full plus gas can = around 115$ one way
it looks like a simple drive for us on the east side of toronto

Hampton in would be our choice

it appears all the hotels listed on the rausch creek side all coming in around the 130$ mark gov rate 99$

we would be leaving early friday morning crossing the border around 9ish
taking our time and arriving around 3 ish

leaving on the 13 yes canadian thanks giving
at check out time of 11 i guess

i figure this will give us 2 straight days of wheeling and 3 nites good sleep
for a total of 1500km

ya i wanted to stay at holiday inn sexpress but they were full up already

I wanted to be just like those guys in the commercial (i'm not a jeep engineer but i did stay at a holiday inn express)

scbesse you could come down thursday stay over night in the house and leave friday morning with us and pick up todd along the way.

I'm about 90% in...depending on how many of our group goes. Sounds like it would be a great road trip!

figure out if your going or not once it gets near the end of sept.
if your going to cancel the hampton has a no cost cancel policy up to 6pm the day that ur supposed to check in

I will book mine shortly and like you said, if something comes up, I can always cancel later. The Hampton it is....the rest of you need to get on this!
