I would love to go but I will be in Colorado at that time and also I am not 'modded' enough yet.

That sucks!!! One thing to keep in mind is that there are trails that you can do stock. i have seen some stock Jeeps do pretty amazing things!!!

Going to talk to the boss and she if she'll let me take the kids down as I don't think she'd get the time off. What are you planning on doing for accomodations Matador? If we go I'd probably take the popup trailer down and stay at one of the campsites.

Last year I stayed on the University Campus which is where all the meals are (case camp). It was fairly inexpensive. There are 2 rooms in each dorm room along with a common-area where there is a mini fridge, sink and TV.

Last year...I stayed in 1 room and my friend and his wife stayed in the other. $110/night for up to 4 adults.

Who's going to this? I think it would be cool if we can get a Convoy of fellower Jeepers to drive down together.
