Default Labour Day run in Welland

Here's a pic of me from my first run ever in the Rubi. Of course, I forgot my camera so I have to rely on pics from others, will post some more if I can find anyone who took some.

The clay mud in Welland is BRUTAL on Jeep parts it just shred metal liners and brakes and radiators and horns to pieces....

Looks like a pretty hard hitting crew there, lots of damaged trucks.

I guess you've been down to Welland before then? It was pretty fun, I think I spent about $14 at the car wash with the pressure washer getting all the mud out from underneath the truck. The crew there is pretty hard hitting, we had a good turnout, about 10 trucks and I bet about half were trailered in. They were pretty good though to the noob. They knew I didn't want to get body damage so were careful to tell me what I proabably could and couldn't do. There were bypasses for all the real tough stuff. I'm still in awe with what my rig can do and I know I didn't come close to pushing it to it's peak.

Oh yeah man, I've been there a few times, and every time, that Welland Muck just chewed up something.....so I kinda stopped going! Haha.

If you ever want to go again, let me know. That's where I grew up and my parents are still down there so we go visit quite a bit. Didn't have anything chewed up this weekend (that I know of at least). From what I understand, it's alot worse if you go inbehind the old GM plant. They did that on Monday but advised against me going.

I thought it was cool to see aJK wheeling with the windshield down. Thought about putting down mine a few times, but seems like too much work, lol.
