The 2012 changes are subtle, however trans. changes are welcomed.
6cyl gets a 5 speed trans
8 cyl gets a 6 speed trans

very slight increase in price.
couple new colors: Black Forest Green Pearl, True Blue Pearl, Winter Chill Pearl

there is a wk2 section on another forum. yahoo search "wk2 forum" 2nd one down

There are 3 manufacts that make a small lift for these already. While this truck will not be a harcore wheel'n machine, the 2.5"F and 2" R lift with a 32" tire make this truck look sweet! add in some mopar rock rails for a little protection, and have some fun on some easy/ moderate trails.

All these trucks have are a set of 2.5" spacers for lift height up front/ 2" rear. add wheel spacers and Jk Rubicon wheels/ tires. Makes a big difference in looks...to me anyhow.

I'll be getting one this fall. I'm waiting to drive a 5.7 with the 6 speed, as it's been reported that it may liven it up some. Hoping to find a dealer with a decent TJ, and use the equity in my JK to get both. I bought the JK to get away from having 2 vehicles, but I'm in a better situation to own a real trail rig again!

I love the new redesign of the grand cherokee. I'm trying to get the wife to get it instead of the BMW X5.

Just picked up a 2011 Limited for the wife over the weekend. I talked her into it instead of another Honda Pilot.

I just picked up an '11 yesterday. Really hated to see the JK go...I miss it already but the 30 mile commute to work along with having a baby on the way promped the new grand.

Its pretty sweet, much easier to drive everywhere, and will be nicer for the family. Plus the wife said if I can sell our beater car I can build up a TJ
