Jeep Owner Tries to Drive on Water, Fails Miserably
Let me be clear here. I’m writing this with a bit of hesitation. For two reasons: one, because I’ve learned you just can’t believe everything that’s posted on social media. And two, even though I have no idea who this guy is, I kind of feel bad for him, if the story is really true.
Then again, you’d think if someone thought they’d developed a contraption that would enable them to drive a Jeep across a body of water, they’d pick a spot other than the Hudson River to give it a test run. But apparently not, if this Facebook post by Matthew Lee of Poughkeepsie, New York is true.
Lee claims the photos shared here are of the Jeep he helped pull out of the river, after the owner tried the rather risky invention. If it is true, Lee is right when he says you “can’t make this up.”
