Jeep JK Overland Build Is ‘Picture Perfect’

Not even an epic winter storm could dampen the OP’s Jeep JK enthusiasm, either. Not by a long shot.

“Camped out in the tent and did some byway runs with a fellow Overland Bound member. Then the big snow storm hit the UK last weekend. Needless to say, the tent handles temps down to 20F just fine! I found that even in my base layer, a decent sleeping bag was still too warm. So I used just a blanket! So far I’m loving the Expedition III and have no complaints!”

The OP then embarks on what we would call “a true bucket list” trip.

“Well I finished my Alps trip about 2 weeks ago. 9 days, 8 countries, and 3k miles of pure greatness. Not a lot of dirt to be found, but an amazing road trip. And due to the weather it wasn’t nearly as boring! Over 5k images taken and just got my first cull down to 7-800. So I’ll be doing the rest of the edits in the coming weeks!”

It’s truly remarkable that in the span of less than a calendar year, the OP has gone from buying a brand new Jeep to modifying it to driving it all over the world. But as we’ve seen in the past, JK Forum members have no problem pulling off seemingly impossible tasks. Time and time again. Be sure and check out ttephotos‘ amazing journeys (and his amazing photography) by heading over here!
