Valet Crashes Jeep Through Building Into Pool

On one hand, it’s easy to envy valet drivers because of all the cool cars they get to drive. On the other hand, I imagine handling other peoples’ vehicles on a daily basis can be kind of stressful, especially when it comes to trying to make sure nothing happens to the cars in your possession.

Still, nothing compares to the recent day this valet had in Cambridge, Massachusetts when a Jeep he was parking crashed through the Regatta Riverview Residences building and wound up in the swimming pool, as detailed in a local ABC News story.

According to the valet, the incident started when the Jeep’s rug got stuck over the gas pedal, causing the vehicle to take off and crash through the building and into the pool. The valet managed to escape with only a few minor injuries. But can you imagine the look on the Jeep owner’s face when he called for his car and was told what happened? Yeah, his bad day may have been comparable to the valet’s.
