Two Men Busted After Using Jeep as Meth Lab

Just when you thought you’d heard about every possible Jeep story, another wild one rolls around.

This, however, might top the list when it comes to the ones we’ve come across involving a Patriot. Well, at least it does in my world. But then again, maybe Jeep meth labs are a lot more common than I realized and I’m just a bit out of touch.

Either way, a Patriot appears to have been the preferred location for two men in Bar Harbor, Maine who were arrested for cooking meth inside the Jeep, according to a WCSH 6 local news report. Police were led to the SUV after learning that the suspects were attempting to acquire materials commonly used to manufacture the drug.

Not having any knowledge of the process it takes to create meth, I decided to look it up, which makes the story even more bizarre. Needless to say, it seems like a very unsafe work environment.
