How-To Tuesday: Universal Winch Installation
Taking out the fact that there are quite a few people out in the world that own a JK that has never been on anything other than pavement, having a winch can be quite convenient. There may come a time that being able to pull yourself or someone else out of a bit of trouble may come in handy. Heck, even some of the city drivers may run into bad weather and feel the need to be a Good Samaritan. So, what does it take for you to do a universal winch installation?
Is the installation of a front winch on a JK difficult? Well, to say that it’s easy may be a stretch, but to say that someone without any experience could not pull it off would also be inaccurate. This week’s How-To Tuesday article really does make the process seem fairly straight forward. I’m not going to sit here and say that each and every one of you out there can make this happen in a few hours, but I would say that a lot of you could! This is not a project that I myself have tackled, but I think with the right tools and this week’s How-To article, I could get it done.
I have a feeling that you may end up being surprised with the ease that our writer has made this task. Before reading the article, I would have assumed that this process was going to be difficult, I was wrong. What about you? Have you ever made this addition to your JK?
