How-To Spotlight: JK Front Axle U-Joint Replacement
If You’re an Avid Off-Roader, Odds Are Good You’ll Have to Replace Your JK’s Front-Axle U-Joint at Some Point
If you drive a Jeep long enough, particularly off-road, you have likely seen a U-joint. A U-joint is one of the more major parts that keep your Jeep safe and strong.
Long story short, the U-joint keeps the front of your Jeep, and the back for that matter, connected to the body. While driving down the road you may have seen a vehicle stranded with such a problem. Perhaps your own.
Generally, it appears as though the tire is trying to peel away from the car axle. It’s not a pretty sight. Furthermore, it’s terrifying if that happens to you or another family member.
