Toledo Plant Teases New Wrangler

Clever idea is really just another sign of the Toledo plant’s longstanding passion for Jeep.

People around the world, beware. There’s something very suspicious lurking under a cover in front of the Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio, poised to take over the world.

Okay, so really, it’s not all that suspicious. Well, at least the general idea isn’t, considering that it’s actually just a tease for the all-new Jeep Wrangler, which will debut later this year.

Evidently, it was plant officials at the FCA Toledo Assembly Complex who came up with the idea, which is just another sign of how much pride the area takes in being the official home of the legendary Jeep.

Of course, by now, we’ve actually seen so many spy shots of the new Wrangler that most could whip off their own detailed sketch of the new JL, all the way down to the color and potential roof options.

That said, we’re sure there are more than a few Jeep fans here at JK Forum who wouldn’t mind if a strong gust of wind came along and accidentally blew the cover right off the vehicle. Although, chances are the thing lurking under that cover is probably just a current model Wrangler being teased as the new model.

But if anyone here happens to be in the Toledo area and has the gall to peek under that cover, be sure to send us a pic. Just don’t blame us if a bolt of lightning strikes you for crossing those sacred grounds.
