Over the next four years, Marchionne wants to nearly double Jeep’s annual volume to a whopping 1.9 million, making it FCA’s top global brand and subsequently one of the strongest in the world.
After setting a goal that seemed damn near impossible to some, the brand looks like it actually is going to pull off selling 1 million vehicles this year.
Building on what is now clearly a bona-fide hit, the Cherokee led Jeep sales again outselling the Wrangler and Grand Cherokee with a total of 14,639 units sold for the month of September.
At a time when a lot of car companies are struggling to salvage their SUV nameplates, Jeep is well on its way to posting one of its best sales years ever.
There appears to be no decline in sight for Jeep. In what is already shaping up to be one hell of a sales year, the brand posted a sales increase of 49 percent.
I just hate for it to seem like I keep singing the same song here, but when you’re as big of a fan of Jeep as I am, it’s hard not to get excited about the brand’s success. Take for example, Jeep sales, which for the month of June were up 28 percent; the best-ever sales for the month of June.
