This Is Why the SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee Exists
For years now, people have argued back and forth about the merits of having an SRT badged Jeep Grand Cherokee. People call it a brick, they call it ludicrous, they call it a ridiculous piece of engineering from a bygone era where gas was plentiful and SUVs were all the rage. They are, however, all wrong. Why? Because sometimes, there are times you need a fast, capable, family hauler to propel you to asinine speeds.
For example, the owner of this Lamborghini Gallardo would probably not have been stopped if they had an SRT Jeep. According to Jalopnik, the owner of the Gallardo was driving with a giant stuffed bear attached to the roof (with what appears to be some twine) when local police pulled him over. All of which, wouldn’t have happened if the driver was just in an SRT Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver was supposedly fined for transporting the bear improperly. No word, however, on whether or not the bear was fined for not wearing its seatbelt.
