Stormtrooper Jeep Wrangler

Customized Wrangler Unlimited comes with more than $35K worth of work, rolls on a set of gold wheels fit for the Death Star.

How far can you go in customizing a Jeep Wrangler? Some opt to remove as much from their rides as possible, reinforce the rest, lift the whole thing in the air, and take it out on the rocks. Others prefer flexing on the streets, glamming up their Wrangler with tons of flash, fine leather, booming sound systems, and anything else to make their rides stand out.

We happened upon the latter not too long ago while scrolling through the duPont Registry, though this one may appeal more to Star Wars fans than the usual Jeep fanatic. In short, it’s a Wrangler ready to protect Darth Vader from the Jedi.

The white-and-gold Stormtrooper Wrangler Unlimited has over $35,000 worth of customizations, ranging from the insane body kit to the set of gold Fuel wheels on the corners and the full-size spare. Despite those customizations, though, it still has its 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 making 285 horsepower to the rears and corners via the five-speed automatic.

Inside this Death Star-worthy ride is a custom infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and a CD player on-board, LED mood lighting, and fine perforated black-and-white leather with gold stitching. The dash is stock aside from the gold trim around the air vents and the passenger-side grab bar.

Like all of the other Stormtrooper Wranglers, this one was built by Voltron Motors, a customizer co-founded by Fast and Furious actor Tyrese Gibson. As we noted a while ago, Gibson recently left the company to establish the similarly named Voltron Entertainment, going so far as to sell his own Voltron Wrangler with a wilder interior than the relatively sedate one found with this Wrangler.

Unlike Gibson’s Wrangler, though, this one won’t hurt your wallet too bad, as the seller is asking $54,888 for the honor to fighting off Luke Skywalker and Han Solo.
