Off-Road Expo Pomona

Hundreds of vendors and 10 acres full of off-road excitement mean a couple of days of fun for Jeep fans of all ages.

Fall is here, which means the Christmas trees are already on sale next to the aisles full of Halloween candy and Thanksgiving turkeys, and pumpkin spice fills the air. Of course, your Jeep’s likely ready to tackle all of those things and more, as no change in the seasons can stop your rig from having fun wherever it goes.

And speaking of fun, if you happen to be in Pomona, California in late September, you should drop by the city’s Fairplex to check out the 2019 edition of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo, which will be making its second and final stop on the calendar September 28 and 29.

What will you, the Jeep fan, find at the Off-Road Expo? For starters, you’ll be surrounded on all sides by 10 acres of off-road madness! There will be racing demos, ride-alongs, rock-crawling installations, big-name celebs making the rounds, and more than a few MAVTV cameras capturing everything (as Lucas Oil owns the motorsport cable channel). But there’s more!

Everywhere you turn, you’ll find hundreds upon hundreds of vendors to help you get the most out of your Jeep of choice, whether you’re an overlander, a rock crawler, or a street fighter. There will be plenty of chances to talk with knowledgeable people about your plans for your rig, and how they can help you reach the summit.

Beyond that, there will be lots of giveaways, live music, and you’ll be not far from the NHRA Motorsports Museum, in case you’re also into drag racing. And if your Jeep is a quarter-mile terror, you can spend some time over at Auto Club Dragway September 29, where you can bring your street-legal rig to go up against everyone else.

Should you and your Jeep want to spend a weekend taking in all that the Off-Road Expo has to offer, tickets can be bought online or at participating O’Reilly Auto Parts stores for $16, $6 for children ages six through 12. If you prefer buying at the gate the days of the event, though, it’ll be $20 for you, $6 for your children between six and 12 years of age.
