JK Thang Out to Prove That Hemi-Jeep Is the Best Jeep
Frank Hansen is one of our moderators over here on JK-Forum, and he has one of the most bad-ass Jeeps in existence. And it’s only getting better. The Jeep is named JK Thang, and many of you are likely aware of its existence. Last year for SEMA, JK Thang got a nice upgrade in the form of a hefty supercharger bolted under the hood. While the extra torque was great for trails and climbing, Frank wasn’t as impressed with on-road gains. To fix that little issue, he is going to stuff a 6.4-liter Hemi under the hood.

When the idea first came up, the engine swap was financially off the board, but after someone else passed on the motor that was pulled from a wrecked Chrysler 300 SRT-8, the deal was too good to ignore. Right now the build is just getting started, but Frank already has the brakes and transmission sorted, and there is plenty more to come.
