‘Jeep x Jurassic’ Ad Celebrates the Pending Release of Jurassic World Dominion

Jurassic World Dominion

Jurassic World Dominion is expected to be the end of the Jurassic franchise. Jeep sends it off with an epic commercial.

Jurassic World Dominion will hit theaters on June 10. It will be the sixth and final (if anything in Hollywood is ever final) installment of the Jurassic franchise. Since the original film debuted back in 1993 it has been intrinsically linked to the Jeep brand. Everyone loves the Jurassic Jeeps. Jeep even paid big bucks for a Jeep and Jurassic Super Bowl ad a few years ago. Now they are at it again with a new ‘Jeep x Jurassic’ ad. This newest ad was recently posted on the official Jeep YouTube channel.

This newest ad features a Wrangler Rubicon 4xe and a Grand Cherokee 4xe. These modern Jeeps are far more advanced than the old YJ Wranglers that were featured in the original Jurassic Park movie. We would say that the dinosaurs would be happy to see that the new Jeeps don’t burn as much fossil fuel as the old ones. But oil and gasoline do not come from old dinosaurs as that is just a persistent myth. Besides, they are dinosaurs after all, they probably don’t care what you drive.

Abandoned Dinosaur

The ad opens with the Wrangler 4xe owner finding an abandoned dinosaur in his lawn as he charges up his Jeep. And we all know what kindhearted people Jeep owners are. So naturally the owner of the 4xe decides to keep the lost dinosaur and raise it as a pet.

As you would expect the neighbors are less than thrilled with this arrangement. Especially as the baby dinosaur begins to get a little older and a little bigger.

Growing Up in a Jeep

The baby dinosaur likes Jeep rides just as much as human children. It even sticks its head out the window to feel the wind in its face just like our canine friends. And when it is tuckered out from a long day out on the trails it curls up in back for a nap.

This is where the Wrangler Rubicon 4xe shines. It can be put in electric mode so it is nice and quiet while the dinosaur catches some sleep. Eventually at picnic site the young dinosaur is reunited with its mom. Mom does not seem to be too grateful for the Jeep owner raising her baby. The Jeep owner is swallowed whole. But alas it all seems to be a dream.

Jurassic World Dominion

Charged for Any Adventure

A Jeep, especially a Wrangler Rubicon is all about taking on any adventure. Finding and raising a dinosaur would certainly count as an adventure. Jurassic World Dominion has not opened yet, but we are sure that we will see some Jeeps partaking in a bit of adventure in the feature film as well. In the meantime, check out the Jeep x Jurassic ad below.

It will make you realize how the new electrified Jeeps are perfect to help raise any prehistoric friends. If you don’t happen to have any of those that is ok. Jeeps and humans have a pretty good relationship too.
