Jeep Wrangler Doors Snatched in Broad Daylight

Let this be a reminder to you Wrangler owners: the features that so many of us have come to love about the Jeeps also make them easier prey for thieves.

Just ask Conrad Belknap of Denver, who recently had the doors to his Wrangler stolen by another Wrangler owner. The incident was covered by the local Denver news affiliate, FOX 31, as you can see in the video below. But it also was captured on a hidden camera, which has given local authorities some pretty decent clues to track down the culprit.

According to reports, the thief is described as an overweight, bearded male with possibly a large tattoo on his left forearm. The suspect was driving a white Jeep with black rims and a gray hard top with the doors missing. Of course he could very well have doors on that Jeep now.

Belknap, however, seems to be taking it all in stride.

“Yeah, it’s going to be a little chilly, but it is what it is. I’m from Detroit and lived in St. Petersburg, Russia, so I’m used to the cold,” he said.
